So naturally, House Republicans returned to DC and did the exact opposite: members voted last night to cut Medicaid so they could reward billionaires with tax breaks – and party leaders are scrambling, telling vulnerable Republicans to avoid their constituents by stopping town halls altogether. It’s the clearest example yet that House Republicans will side with Donald Trump and Elon Musk over their own constituents every time.
“Across the nation, Americans are already sounding the alarm over their representatives’ allegiance to Donald Trump and Elon Musk,” said HMP National Press Secretary Katarina Flicker. “House Majority PAC will continue to hold House Republicans accountable for turning their backs on the very people they were elected to serve.”
